Pakistani national gets 7-year RI

New Delhi, Apr 18 (UNI) A sessions court here has sentenced a Pakistani national to 7-year Rigorous Imprisonment and also slapped on him a fine of Rs 5,000.

Additional Sessions Judge R K Gupta yesterday sentenced Pakistan national Nadeem Ahmad for violating Official Secrets Act and Foreigners Act.

Nadeem was caught sending 17 photographs of Gangtok Army establishment to another Pakistani national through the Internet on September 20, 2004.

The photographs were marked as classified.
