One killed, communist worker injured in Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 18 (UNI) One person was killed and a worker of Communist Party of India (M) was shot at and wounded while security forces arrested a militant in the Kashmir valley overnight.
An official spokesman said militants shot at and wounded a CPI (M) worker Nazir Ahmad Bhat at Kujar Yaripora in south Kashmir last night. He was admitted to hospital.
Police today fished out an unidentified body of a male from Jehlum river near Pather-Masjid in the down town city.
He said acting on a specific information police apprehended one Abdul Ahad Rather alongwith one pistol and six rounds of ammunition at Kupwara bus Stand.
