Motorola opens two outlets in capital
New Delhi, Apr 18 (UNI) Diversifying into the retail segment, Motorola, the world's second-biggest mobile phone maker, today launched its two outlets in the capital.
The company is mulling further such ventures in Chennai and Ahmedabad, but refused to divulge its investment plans.
Talking to UNI Lloyd Mathias, Director Marketing, Mobile India Devices said at this juncture the world's second-biggest mobile phone maker is not in a position to expose its investment figures.
''After Mumbai, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Pune, Delhi and Noida we are planning to launch stores in Chennai and Ahmedabad, '' said Mr Mathias.
''We are proud of our three-storey flagship Motostore in India, which is the third flagship store launched globally,'' said Mr Malcom Dawe, Vice-President and General Manager, Mobile India Devices.
The Motostore will offer access to interactive experiences and exclusive content, as well as personalisation service such as mobile phone tattoos, bluetooth photo-imaging and ringtone downloads.
'' The motostores are testimony to the evolving Indian consumer, who has an increasingly sophisticated appetite for the latest, cuttig edge mobile technology,'' said Mr Dawe.
