MCD sealing drive on, 116 units put to seal

New Delhi, Apr 18: The drive by the Municipal corporation of Delhi to seal units running in violation of the 2021 Delhi Master Plan today picked up steam with the corporation putting to seal 116 units in seven zones of Delhi.

During today's drive, the MCD put to seal units in Shastri Nagar in Civil Lines zone, Rohtak Road in Nazafgarh zone, Vasant Vihar in South zone, Yamuna Vihar in South zone and Ramesh Nagar in West zone, an MCD spokesperson said.

The maximum number of 67 units were put to seal in South zone while 16 units were put to seal in Shahdara (South) and 13 in Civil Lines zone, the spokesperson said.

With today's sealing drive the number of units put to seal since the drive began on March 28 is 659.
