Infotech posts net profit of Rs 74.41 crore

Hyderabad, Apr 18: IT service provider Infotech Enterprises Limited has registered a net profit of Rs 74.41 crore in this fiscal.

Announcing the audited financial results for the Q4 and year ended March 31, 2007 here today, Infotech Enterprises Chairman and Managing Director B V R Mohan Reddy said the company had regsitered a revenue of Rs 542.56 crore in 2006-07.

He said the company proposed to declare a dividend of 22.5 per cent for the year 2006-07.

The company would recruit an additional force of 1500 people and invest Rs 76 crore to meet new business expansion plans.

In FY 08, the company would focus further on solutions oriented services, invest in new practices and verticals to further strengthen its leadership position both in engineering services and geospatial services.

Infotech, which had development centres in Kakinda in Andhra Pradesh, Sydney in Australia and Auckland in New Zealand, had announced the inauguration of a state-of-the-art development centre at Manikonda in Hyderabad.
