IIM Admission List May Be Delayed
New Delhi, Apr 18 (UNI) India's ace management schools may be asked to wait ''a working day'' before announcing successful admission seekers, a Human Resource Development Ministry source indicated tonight.
The Indian Institutes of Management are scheduled to declare on April 21 the final list of students admitted for the 2007-08 academic session.
But the Supreme Court today set April 23 to hear a government petition for vacation of an order staying the implementation of 27 per cent reservation for OBC students.
''Delaying the list for a day would bring us to April 23-- when things may become clearer,'' the source said.
