Govindacharya undergoes surgery; Condition stable
New Delhi, Apr 18 (UNI) Former BJP ideologue Govindacharya, who was admitted to a city hospital on April 7 after suffering a fall, underwent successful surgery today to remove a brain clot, doctors said.
''His condition is stable and he is responding well to post operative medication,'' the doctors at Apollo Hospital said.
The former BJP ideologue, who is in the ICU and will undergo a C T Scan of the brain tomorrow.
''The scan will establish the progress he is making after the surgery,'' they added.
Govindacharya was admitted to the Apollo Hospital on April 7 in a serious condition after being brought from Hisar in Haryana where he received head injuries after the fall.
