Genus Power Q4 net swings 57 pc

New Delhi, Apr 18 (UNI) Genus Power Infrastructure Ltd today posted 57 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 12.63 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2007 as against Rs 8 crore during the same period last year.

The company's income from operations increased 40 per cent to Rs 164.73 crore in the said period from Rs 117.88 crore reported in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

In addition, its net profit for the financial year 2006-07 ended March 31, 2007 stood at Rs 28.2 crore, up 84 per cent from Rs 15.33 crore during fiscal 2005-06.

While, the income from operations increased 72 per cent to Rs 395.6 crore from Rs 229.7 crore reported in the corresponding period.
