Four of a family electrocuted

Banka, Apr 18 (UNI) Altogether four people of a family were electrocuted near Mayabandh village under Bausi police station area in Banka district today.

Police sources said the mishap occured when a high voltage electric wire fell upon Umesh Yadav following heavy windstorm.

Yadav was going to Bausi bazar along with his wife, son and a relative on his motorbike.

All the four members died on the spot.

Meanwhile, the villagers had blocked the Bhagulpur-Hatia road at Bausi chowk demanding a compensation of Rs five lakh to the kith of the family.

The blockade was later lifted following interference of local administration, sources added.
