Education WorldWide India Fair commences today

Mumbai, Apr 18 (UNI) Some prominent international educational institutions like Johnson&Wales University, USA, RAK Medical and Health Sciences Univerity, UAE and DAAD German Education will participate in the two-day 68th India International Education Fair sporting here today.

The fair is the country's best platform where students get an opportunity to interact one-to-one with a large number of international institutions under one roof and in their own city.

This announcement was made yesterday by Global Events&Expositions Private Limited, a company which organises world-class expositions focusing on education.

Addressing the media, Chief (Marketing Operations) Siddharth Jain said ''Nowadays, where new courses are coming up, the requirement of appropriate guidance is essential to start a career with a right chord. With top notch institutions participating in this series of education fairs, students will get accurate and up to date information on professional courses and career options.'' ''These include Management, Computer education, Medical, Fashion, Multimedia, Hotel Management, Tourism, Graphic Design and Beauty care,'' he said.

In the two-day event, a large number of educational institutions such as National Institute of Management and Zee Interactive Learning Systems (ZIMA) will aslo take part, he said.

Apart from these, the Indian Air Force and the Indian Coast Guard's participation is an added attraction, Mr Jain informed.

After Mumbai, the fair will be held in other cities like New Delhi (April 21 to 22), Hyderabad (April 25-26), Bangalore (April 28-29), Chennai (May 1-2), Kolkata (May 5-6), Jammu (May 12-13), Ludhiana (May 15-16) and Chandigarh (May 19-20).

Earlier, the Global Group had brought the pavillions of various countries like France, China, Korea, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Thailand and Hong Kong in the country to increase awareness about education and helping the institutions to reach the student community, he added.
