Disabled youth prepares to celebrate Abhi-Ash wedding

Porbandar, Apr 18 (UNI) Come April 20, the day when Bollywood Star Abhishek Bachchan weds Aishwarya Rai, 60 inmates of an asylum here will be treated to a sumptuous meal, courtesy Manish Waghela.

Physically-challenged Manish is a die-hard fan of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan. He has decided to celebrate the wedding in his own way by treating inmates of the Sant Pragji Ashram (home for mentally challenged people) here. Manish also plans to be in Mumbai to attend the wedding.

Manish worships Amitabh and Jaya as his parents and their photographs adorn his house here. Manish has been paying obeisance to his ''parents'' since the last sixteen years.

So immense is his reverence for the Bachchans that Manish unfailingly distributes sweets to the children in his locality on the occasion of Amitabh's birthday. He had also undertaken a five-day fast for the immediate recovery of Big B when the latter had fallen seriously ill few years back.

A resident of Khojakhana area of the city, Manish is a casual labourer. He claims to have climbed the Mount Girnar twice despite his physical disability.
