Cong names 8 candidates for UP assembly polls

New Delhi, Apr 18: The Central Election Committee (CEC) of the Congress today approved the names of 8 candidates for the seventh phase of the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.

According to an AICC release issued here by Mr Oscar Fernandes, Permanent Invitee to the CWC, the candidates are -- Ashok Rajbhar, Katehri, Vedpal Singh Shrinet (in place of Jaybir Singh) Chillupar, Ramnath Kushwaha, Barhaj, Ramayan Yadav (in place of Devener Chauhan) Natthupur, Dr Rana Vijaya Rajbhar, Ghosi, Vipin athak, Gopalpur, Rajbali Yadav, Azamgarh, and Gopal Nishad, Mau.
