Cong must appoint tutor for Rahul Gandhi: CPI-M

Kozhikode, Apr 18: Stating that Amethi MP, Rahul Gandhi lacked knowledge of history, CPI(M) today urged the Congress to appoint a tutor to impart proper education to the scion of the Nehru-Gandhi family.

''The Congress should consider appointing the right person to teach Rahul about the country's freedom movement, politics and diplomacy,'' CPI(M) Politburo member S Ramachandran Pillai told reporters here.

He was reacting to Mr Gandhi's remarks crediting his family for some historical events, including the division of Pakistan.
