Army nabs HM militant in Doda

Jammu, Apr 18 (UNI) The Indian Army today apprehended a 'section commander' of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) outfit at Manjmi in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.

Acting on a tip-off, troops of ten Rashtiya Rifles along with Special Task Force (STF) personnel launched a search operation at manjmi and apprehended local HM militant, Ferrekh, 30, alias Irfan, sources said.

The militant, who was active in the area since 1997, had torture marks all over his body, sources disclosed.

Later, he was handed over to police.
