Aptech to train Infosys 'bankers'

Mumbai, Apr 18 (UNI) Infosys will soon have Aptech trainers with them to win a big hand in the ever expanding world of core banking.

Aptech training solutions, the coporate training division of the global learning solutions, has been selected by the IT major to train the banking personnel to avail expertise in 'Finacle', a banking solutions software-developed by Infosys to facilitate the banks to get a major access in core banking.

The solution has also been intended to cater other banking services like e-banking, treasury, wealth management and other customer relationship management(CRM) requirements of retail, corporate and universal banks worldwide, said Aptech.

As per the tie-up, Aptech trainers will train the banking personnel to work on the software who in turn will impart the customers to draw an optimum use of Finacle.

Infosys officials were optimistic about the impacts from Aptech collaboration since it provides a ''bigger and richer pool of certified professional trainers for enhancing in-house competence on finacle.'' ''We believe that the tie-up will surely enhance the Finacle value proposition in the market and marks the emergence of Finacle as the benchmark banking solution.'', said Merwin Fernandes, Vice president and business head-Finacle, Infosys technologies.

Aptech has chalked out an end user level training strategy to the Financle customers. Its widespread presence across the globe will enable the institution to make it a successful venture.'', said Uday Kulkarni, Senior vice president, Aptech training solutions.
