4 farmers killed in lightning

Mainpuri, Apr 18 (UNI) At least four farmers died in separate lightning incidents followng rainfall here this morning.

The deceased were identified as Udayvir (18), Ramsewak (35), Rambathan (50) and Ram Singh (50).

The incidents occurred when they were working in the wheat fields.

Meanwhile, the district administration has announced ex-gratia from the natural calamity fund.

The off-season rainfall is also said to be harmful for the rabi crop.
