11 ABVP activists held in professors attack case

Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 18 (UNI) Police arrested 11 ABVP student activists in connection with yesterday's attack on five Professors in Kakatiya University.

Police said the arrested persons were produced before a local court which remanded them in custody. They were lodged in Warangal Central Jail.

Five professors were beaten up yesterday by a group of ABVP students, who held them responsible for failure of 14 students.

The injured professors, who were admitted to the MGM Hospital, were discharged this morning.
