Wild dogs kill eleven black bucks in zoo

Hubli, Apr 17 (UNI) Eleven black bucks were killed when wild dogs attacked them in their enclosure at Binkadakatte Zoo in the neighbouring Gadag district about 55 km from here today.

District Forest Officer Avtar Singh said the wild dogs entered the small zoo when the guard on went out for tea. ''The dogs came from neighbouring Kappadgudda forest area,'' he said.

An inquiry has been ordered into the incident. Post mortem of the dead bodies was carried out this evening, the official added.
