Manipur:Two militants arrested

Imphal, Apr 17: Two militants of People's Liberation Army (PLA) have been arrested here by the Maratha Light Infantry.

Identified as Bankim and Abulo, they were nabbed by the MLI yesterday, the Assam Rifles said today.

In a separate incident, a jawan A K Tiwari, from Murshidabad, was critically injured in 'accidental' firing at the BSF post late last night, BSF officials said.

He will undergo a surgery tomorrow at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).

Senior BSF personnel will conduct an enquiry into the incident, the officials added.
