Two killed and five houses gutted in Kashmir
Srinagar , Apr 17 (UNI) Two persons were killed and five houses were gutted in the Kashmir valley overnight, a police spokesman said today.
He said Nazir Ahmad Malik was electrocuted when he was repairing a 11000 kv line at Kalmoona at Vilgam, in the frontier district of Kupwara.
A speedy vehicle hit and injured one Kishen Singh near Rambagh.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he died.
The spokesman said five residential houses were gutted at Magam and Aloochi-Bagh. The cause of the fire was not known.
