Two arrested in Tata rape case

Mumbai, Apr 17 (UNI) Police today arrested one Feroz Ahmed, and his accomplice from Goregaon here in the alleged Tata memorial rape case.

The victim, a 16-year-old girl, and a cancer patient, had lodged an FIR with the Bhoiwada Police on Saturday night alleging that she was raped last November after being wheeled inside the operation theatre for a major surgery.

Shockingly, the girl, according to the FIR, was in anesthesia at the time this heinous crime was committed.

When contacted, a Bhoiwada police official confirmed the arrest, but did not give any details.
