Two arrested in connection with attack on CM escort

Jaipur, Apr 17(UNI) Police arrested two people late last night in connection with the attack on the escort vehicle of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia in Sirohi district on Sunday.

Paldi police station SHO Kishan Singh told UNI over phone that two people have been arrested by police late last night for torching a police escort vehicle and damaging governemnt transport during the Chief minister's visit to Gautam Rishi Mela on Sunday.

The arrested have been identified as Dungaram Meena of Bagseen village and Mukesh Meena a resident of Kesarpura village. The police is interrogating for more information.

Menwhile Additional Director General of police (Law and Order) K L Berwa started inquiry in to the incident and visited the site today.
