Tributes paid to Prof Loganathan at IIT Kanpur

Kanpur, Apr 17 (UNI) The faculty, staff and students of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur today paid tributes Prof G V Loganathan, who was among the 33 people killed in the shooting at the Virginia Tech University yesterday.

Prof Loganathan was remembered and his portrait also garlanded for paying homage to the departed soul.

IIT Kanpur Director Prof Sanjay Dhare said Prof Loganathan had spent seven years in the Institute and conducted research in civil engineering.
