Three killed in a shoot out in Sonepat

Sonepat, Apr 17 (UNI) Armed assailants shot dead three people and injured another person close to Hasanpur village near the GT road in this district yesterday, police said today.

The deceased were identified as Virender, Surinder and Hari Om.

They were going to court when the jeep-borne assailants opened fire at them.

While Surinder and Hari Om died on the spot, Virender fled but was killed in the fileds by the assailants. The injured was admitted to a hospital.

Police have arrested three of the assailants.
