Rs 4 lakhs looted from cloth merchant

Madhepura, Apr 17 (UNI) Unidentified criminals today looted Rs four lakhs from a cloth merchant at Murliganj market under Murliganj police station area in the district.

Police said that four motorcyclists looted the cash at gun point from Shiv Prasad Garodia when he was on his way to deposit the amount in a nearby bank.

The criminals managed to escape with the money after firing in air to terrorise the locals.

Raids were on to nab the criminals, police said.
