Raichur records highest temperature 40 degree celsius

Bangalore, Apr 17 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over interior Karnataka.

Mangalore Airport 3, Mangalore, Panambur, Banavasi, Joida, Siddapura, Shirahatti 1 each.

Maximum temperatures rose at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and changed little over Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably above normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka.

Raichur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40 degree celsius over the Sate.

Forecast valid until the Thursday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.
