Porcupine trapped in Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 17 (UNI) A porcupine was caught at Kapran in Shopian area of Kulgam district in south Kashmir today.
The porcupine was trapped by the police and handed over to the wildlife department.
Wildlife officials said the animal was later released in the forest area.
They said porcupines encroach on areas inhabited by the people in search of salt and eat tool handles, clothes and many other items that have been coated in sweat.
