One killed and HM militant arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar Apr 17 (UNI) One person was killed while police arrested a Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said.

They said the body of one Ishfaq Ahmad Khan was recovered from river Jhelum at Noorbagh in the down town city this morning.

Troops of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a HM militant Abdul Rashid Bhat at Kulpora, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Pulwama.

Two hand grenades and 10 AK rounds were recovered from his possession.
