NCDEX records trade worth Rs 3,934 cr

Mumbai, Apr 17 (UNI) About 595 members (2,575 users) of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) participated in trading up to 1700 hrs today and volumes worth Rs 3,934 crore (one-way) were traded.

There were 1,13,970 trades put through by them. Active trades were in pepper, jeera, chana, guarseeds, chilli and refined soya oil, a NCDEX release here said.

Yesterday, about 580 members participated in trading and put through 92,550 trades. The volume of trading yesterday till 1400 hrs was around Rs 3,362 crore (one-way). Active trades were in pepper, jeera, chana, guarseed, refined soya oil and chilli, the release added.
