Manjushree's net profit up by 106 per cent

Kolkata, Apr 17 (UNI) Manjushree Extrusions Ltd, a manufacturing company, has registered 106 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 28.23 million in the financial year completed in March 31, 2007.

The net profit was Rs 13.17 million in the corresponding period last year.

The company release here today said that it also reported 22 per cent increase in turnover at Rs 800 million compared to Rs 653 million in the previous year.

Manjushree is an ISO 9001 certified company, manufacturing specialty plastic packaging products for multinational companies in FMCG, pharma, food processing and agrochemical sectors.

The company is listed on Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Guwahati Stock Exchanges.
