Gold, silver recovered from lockers of SSA scam accused

Hyderabad, Apr 16 (UNI) CB-CID sleuths today recovered gold and silver ornaments weighing one kg each from the bank lockers of the main accused in the sensational Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) scam.

The CB-CID which was investigating the case conducted searches in the banks where the main accused, Sarasa Devi, had accounts in the name of her son and daughter sources said..

More than Rs ten lakh worth gold and Rs one lakh worth silver ornaments were recovered from the lockers.

The sleuths were also conducting searches in the banks here where another accused Subramaniam had opened accounts. He had more than 15 bank accounts in fictitious names.
