Four hurt as Giant wheel box dislodges in fair

Nahan, Apr 17 (UNI) Four people were injured when a box of a power-run Giant Wheel suddenly got disconnected today from the main body in the Shirgul fair held in Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh.

The victims, who sustained injuries as they fell off the box which dislodged while running, have been identified as Seema (17) of Shaya, Priya (17) of Ulakh Katoga, Subash (22) of Kundia and Ritika (11).

They were admitted to the Rajgarh hospital, police said.

On receiving the information, SDM Rajgarh rushed along with a police party to inspect the safety measures in the fair, which concludes today.

Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker G R Musafir visited the hospital and announced free treatment for the injured.
