Dr Mantha appointed SNDT Women's varsity Pro VC

Mumbai, Apr 17 (UNI) Dr Shanker S Mantha has been appointed as Pro Vice Chancellor of the SNDT Women's University by Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of Universities of the state S M Krishna.

Dr Mantha, who was Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at V J T I here, has 26 years of teaching experience, and twelve years of administrative experience.

He has served as professor of robotics/CAD/CAM, and has also served as dean of the Faculty of Technology in the University of Mumbai, a Raj Bhavan press release here said.
