Dollar hits 2-yr low vs euro in wake of soft CPI
NEW YORK, Apr 17 (Reuters) The dollar hit a fresh two-year low against the euro on Tuesday, extending losses after an unexpectedly soft reading in core consumer prices reinforced a view that U.S.
interest rates may be set to fall.
The euro was trading up around half a percent on the day at $1.3590 after touching a two-year high of 1.3595, less than one cent below a record high of 1.3670.
