Deaf-dumb worker clubbed to death

Dehradun, Apr 17 (UNI) A deaf and dumb person was brutally clubbed to death in this district of Uttarakhand today.

Police discovered the blood stained body of Vedprakash (40), resident of Resham Majri, from a sugarcane field this morning with his head and face bearing grievious wounds.

According to the police, the deceased was working in a canteen of a country liquor shop and reportedly had had a heated argument with some people that allegedly led to his murder last night.

Police has initiated investigations into the case.
