CPI demands govt action on police
Hyderabad, Apr 17 (UNI) Communist Party of India (CPI) National Council Secretary and MP S Sudhakar Reddy today demanded that the government take action on the police who arrested his party MLA at Turkayanjal village in Ranga Reddy district yesterday.
According to a press release here, Mr Reddy alleged that the police had arrested CPI MLA M Nasimha when he was staging dharna in protest against the demolition of houses of poor.
Condemning the arrest of his party MLA, he demanded that the government take action against the police officials responsible.
