Chemical Examination Report in Abhaya case seized

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 17 (UNI) The chemical examination report to the 15 year old controversial Sister Abhaya case was today seized from the Chemical Examination Laboratory and produced before a local court here.

The Chief Judicial Magistrate had ordered the seizure while hearing a PIL seeking action against those who had allegedly tampered with the chemical examination report of the Sister Abhaya Case.

The CBI is investigating the case again.

Meanwhile, Kerala Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan instructed the Principal Secretary, Home, to hand over all the reports and documents related to the case to the CBI.

The controversy regarding the Sister Abhaya case came to light again after reports that the original report of the Chief Chemical Examiner was altered.
