Calicut Press Club manager passes away

Kozhikode, Apr 17 (UNI) Calicut Press Club Manager K Balachandran, died at his residence here following kidney-related ailments last night.

He was 61 and is survived by wife Jayalakshmi and daughter Manjima.

A former employee of Malayala Manorama, Mr Balachandran had also served as treasurer of Kerala News Paper Employees Federation (KNEF).

The final rites was held at the Mavoor Road crematorium this morning.

Kerala Union of Working Journalists and KNEF held a meeting here today to condole his death.
