K'taka: No problem in transfer of power to BJP
New Delhi, Apr 17: A Senior BJP Minister from Karnataka today expressed the hope that the transition of power in the state would be according to the agreed plans between his party and the Janata Dal (Secular).
Minister for Medical Education V S Acharya, who is here for an official meeting, told reporters that there was no confusion about the transfer of power to the BJP.
''The BJP has no apprehension that things may go wrong now and when the JD(S) has to transfer power to the BJP on completion of 20 months in office,'' he said.
All the BJP Ministers, including Public Works Minister Eswarappa, attended the Karnataka Vikas Yatra undertaken by the state BJP.
Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa had made it clear that the BJP would not claim extra credit for implementing various development programmes during the last 15 months.
Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and his JD(S) deserved equal share in the good things carried out by the coalition, he had said.
