5 IPS transferred in UP
Lucknow, Apr 17 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government tonight transferred five senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers in the state.
DIG Ramendra Vikram Singh, attached with the DGP office here, has been transferred as DIG Railways, Lucknow, while earlier incumbent Ram Singh is the new DIG CB-CID, Lucknow.
Jagmohan Yadav has been made IG, Central Zone, PAC, Lucknow, while earlier incumbent V K Gupta is the IG, East Zone, PAC, Lucknow, replacing R N Singh, who has been transferred as IG, ISBF headquarters, Lucknow.
