2 Maoists surrender in AP

Sangareddy, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 17 (UNI) Two CPI (Maoist) naxals today surrendered before Nizamabad Range DIG Anjani Kumar in Medak District.

Speaking to newsmen here, Mr Kumar said Maoist District Area Committee Secretary J Srinivas Goud was carrying Rs 50,000 reward on his head and Co-Secretary K Narasimhulu surrendered before the police.

The duo was attracted by the appeal given by the police to the naxals in the district recently, he said adding the government would rehabilitate them.
