Tidal wave project to start from May 1:Kore
Mumbai, Apr 16 (UNI) Maharashtra non-conventional Energy minister Vinay Kore today said work on a Rs 40 crore project to generate power from tidal waves will start at Borya and Dughal in Ratnagiri from May one.
Replying to a question by Prakash Shendge (BJP) and others, Kore said the project will have capacity to generate 15 to 20 KW of power.
He said every year an amount of five crore rupees will be earmarked for research in this sector.
