K'taka: 3 killed as mango laden lorry collide

Bidar, Apr 16: Three persons, including a teenager, were killed on the spot and six others injured, when a mango laden lorry hit against a stationary truck from behind at Basavakalyan, about 60 km from here today.

Police said the lorry was proceeding to Sholapur. Two of the victims were mango traders going to sell their mangoes in Maharashtra, while the other was the driver of the lorry. The dead were identified as Basavaraj (16), Mallesh (50) and Mallikarjun (30). All the injured were shifted to Bidar Government hospital for treatment, police added.
