Tholons to offer consultancy services to UK's Baird Capital

London, Apr 16 (UNI) Baird Capital Partners Europe, run in the UK by Simon Havers, has signed a deal with Bangalore-based services and investment consulting firm Tholons to provide support and expertise to its current and future investments.

''The partnership will bring together Baird's deep investment experience with Tholons' 'best-of-breed' globalisation advisory and local market knowledge in Asia,'' company Chairman Ashish Vashistha said.

Mr Vashistha will work with Baird and its companies on expansion and outsourcing.

Initially, the deal will not see Baird making any investment in the region, but in time a deal presence may be established, he added.

The agreement was signed as part of a wider agreement with Baird Venture Partners, its US sister company. Both are controlled by Baird Private Equity.

''Our expanded presence in Asia supports our European and US portfolio companies as they address both the competitive threats and commercial opportunities created by globalisation,'' said Baird Private Equity Director Paul Carbone.

A number of Baird's portfolio companies already have presence in India.
