Sushma Ramachandran elected IWPC President
New Delhi, Apr 16 (UNI) Ms Sushma Ramachandran has been unanimously elected as the President of the Indian Women's Press Corps while Ms Anita Katyal of The Tribune and Ms Ira Jha of Hindustan have been elected as the Vice Presidents.
Ms Anjali Dhal Samanta was elected unopposed as the General Secretary of the IWPC while Ms Parul Sharma of Jansatta and Ms Navika Kumar of Times Now have been elected unopposed as the Joint Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
Among the Executive Committee members elected were Ms Arati R Jerath (DNA), Ms Coomi Kapoor (The Indian Express), Ms Gargi Parsai (The Hindu), Ms Jyoti Malhotra (The Telegraph), Ms Kalyani Shankar (Columnist), Ms Kumkum Chadha (Hindustan Times), Ms Mandira Nayar (The Hindu), Ms Mannika Chopra (Columnist), Ms Manjari Chaturvedi (Nav Bharat Times), Ms Mrinal Pande (Hindustan), Ms Narayani Ganesh (The Times of India), Ms Neelam Jeena (Visalaandhra), Ms Rashme Sehgal (The Asian Age), Ms Ritu Sarin (The Indian Experss), Ms Shanta Serbjeet Singh (Freelancer), Ms Shubha Singh (Columnist), Ms Sonal Kellogg (The Asian Age), Ms Suhasini Haidar (CNN-IBN), Ms T K Rajalakshmi (Frontline), Ms Tripti Nath (The Tribune) and Ms Vichitra Sharma (Freelancer).
