Six children killed in road accident

Nawada, Apr 16 (UNI) At least six children were killed and seven injured, four of them seriously, when a jeep in which they were travelling in collided head on with a truck on National Highway-31 in the district today.

Police said the incident took place when the truck's driver lost control of his vehicle. The jeep was on way to Jamui from Makhdumpur village in Jehanabad district.

Condition of the four injured was stated to be critical and had been referred to Patna Medical College and Hospital while the rest were undergoing treatment in a local hospital, police added.
