Railway employees demand pay revision

Hyderabad, Apr 16 (UNI) South Central Railway employees today appealed Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav to hike their salaries by constituting a pay revision commission (PRC).

Responding to Employees' demand at the 52nd Railway week celebrations the Minister said Centre was the sole authority to set up pay commission and only it could decide about the hike of salaries of the Railway employees.

He said the Railway Ministry was under control of the Union Government. Railway Ministry would only pay salaries to its employees. It has no authority to hike the salaries.
