Narrow escape for Advani as stage collapses

Basti, Apr 16: Senior BJP leader L K Advani had a narrow escape today when the stage, from which he was to address an election meeting, suddenly collapsed in Kaptanganj area.

However, Mr Advani escaped without any injury.

As soon as Mr Advani ascended the stage, it collapsed, witnesses said.

Later, the BJP leader addressed the meeting from the ground.
