Minister makes surprise visit; suspends three officers

Ranchi, Apr 16 (UNI) Jharkhand Water Resource, Food and Public Distribution Minister Kamlesh Kumar Singh today made a surprise visit to the PDS office here and suspended three officers with immediate effect for derelection of duty.

The suspended were Section Offcier Arun Shankar Prasad and his two assistants Lalit Kumar and Yamuna Rajwar.

The three government employees were found absent in office without prior intimation.

Expressing concern over the incident, Mr Singh termed it as ''indiscipline'' and warned that noody, irrespective of their position, would be spared if found neglecting duty.

UNI
