Four killed by militants in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 16: Four people were killed by unidentified militants in the Kashmir valley overnight, a police spokesman said.

He said the bodies of two unidentified people were recovered at Kursoo Raj Bagh in the city this morning.

The bodies were taken away by police for identification, he said.

He said unidentified gunmen fired at a vehicle of Tariq Ahmad Mir at Kakpora in the Pulwama district of south Kashmir last night.

Mir, however, escaped unhurt while two pedestrians, identified as Farooq Ahmad Wani and Shakoor Ahmad Dar, were killed.
